The THRIVE Movement

I'm asked quite often what our project is about.  Quite simply it's about making this beautiful planet we call home, pristine and peaceful again.  By showing people that every single one of us can make a difference and change the world.  It all starts with each of us!

The problems facing us in these times can be quite daunting.  Global warming, air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution, fracking, dependence on fossil fuels, de-forestation, food shortages, water shortages, homelessness, animal abuse and the list goes on and on.  While these are all huge, global problems, it only takes one of us to get the ball moving and bring about change.

I am thrilled to see so many groups forming and starting projects to beautify this planet, bring us free energy solutions long held back from the public and a whole host of other projects to benefit the planet and humanity.

On THRIVE's website there is a link titled "What Can I Do?"
In that section you will find links to the top ten actions that you can do.
1) Get Informed, Speak Up & Connect With Others
2) Bank Locally
3) Buy and Invest Responsibly
4) Join the Movement to Audit and End the Federal Reserve
5) Keep the Internet Fair and Open
6) Support Independent Media
7) Support Organic, Non-GMO Farming
8) Require Election & Campaign Finance Reform
9) Advocate for Renewable and "Free" Energy
10) Take Part in Critical Mass Actions

 Over the coming weeks we will take these issues and explore them one at a time.  I would love to have all of you comment and start a dialogue about your take and input on these items.

Welcome To N.E.W Localization Project!

Ah, the start of a new year and new beginnings. New beginnings that start with a dream.

I have a dream, a dream of a beautiful, pristine Mother Earth with clean, pure waters, massive trees, lush greenery and flower blooms galore.  I have a dream, a dream of no more air pollution, water pollution or noise pollution.  I have a dream of clean, abundant, free energy in homes, businesses and cars.  I have a dream of no more animal abuse or homeless pets.  I have a dream, a dream of great health, abundance and joy for every soul on this sweet Earth.  Yes, I have a dream and that dream is Paradise.

The purpose of the N.E.W Localization Project is to bring a community of like minded people together to create group projects that will benefit all of humanity with our group having an emphasis on our N.E Wyoming area.  I would love to see the ideas and concepts presented on this blog implemented in every county of every state in the country and spread globally along with similar projects that are gaining momentum.  Individually and collectively, WE can make a difference!

Looking For Group Leaders For Community Projects For 2013 :
I am looking for like minded, creative people to head up groups & projects in various fields such as Alternative Energy, Community Organic Gardening, Greenhouse Gardening, Aquaponic and Hydroponic Gardening, Community Emergency Service Planning, Alternative - Environmental Friendly Building, Teaching Self Sufficiency, Gifting Circles, Going Green, Bartering Groups and more.
I would also love to hear any other ideas for groups that would bring community together, protect and heal the environment and that benefits all of humanity, the animals and Mother Earth.  Please feel free to contact me, Lisa, via email at newlocalizationproject@gmail.com with your ideas.
